Root & Range began with a simple question: what if the things on your desk could remind you of who you are — and who you're becoming?
Where it all began
Root & Range was born out of a love for the written word and a deep belief that the everyday deserves more intention. I started the shop because I kept searching for stationery that felt like it truly belonged in my life — pieces that were beautiful without being precious, thoughtful without being fussy.
I grew up surrounded by notebooks, letters, and the particular pleasure of a good pen on good paper. When I couldn't find what I was looking for on the high street, I started sourcing it myself — from small makers, independent studios, and craftspeople who share the same quiet obsession.
What began as a personal collection became a shop, and that shop became a community of people who believe that writing things down still matters.
